Summary

• There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
• We do not store your calculation history.
• We do not sell or share the values you enter.
• We do not show advertising.

Calculations

The ABV, proof and hydrometer calculators run entirely in your browser; the values you enter are not sent to us. The alcohol temperature correction and dilution calculators send the numbers you enter to our server, which calculates the result and returns it. Those values are used only to return the result and are not stored or linked to you.

Hosting and security logs

ABV Tools is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. To limit automated misuse, we apply a per-IP request limit to the calculation service and log unusual requests (for example, too many requests in a short time). These logs contain the IP address, country and browser type, never the values you entered, and are kept for a limited period of days by Cloudflare's logging service.

Analytics

This site does not currently use any analytics service and does not set cookies.

Links to other sites

Links to the App Store for ABV Corrector take you to Apple's website, which has its own privacy policy. If we add links to recommended equipment in the future, they will be clearly marked, and this policy will be updated before they appear.

Children

This site is intended for adults of legal drinking age and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top of the page.
